Enjoy apples the fun way with these Cinnamon flavored Apple Fries which are also Caramelized making it drool worthy. With only 10 minutes, these lip smacking apple fries are healthy and easy snack for kids and adults too.
My daughter loves apples but me, not so much! I have to force myself to pick a fruit once in a while and eat. And If I have a choice between two fruits and one of them is an apple, I would always reach out for another. But that’s just me, an exception but these apple fries have made me forget my apple aversion. I just love the apple cinnamon combo. Apple cinnamon is my favorite flavor combination.
To make things better than the best, I have caramelized these apple fries in a skillet instead of frying them. Traditionally these are fried but I don’t like frying anything at all. Putting a fresh and beaming piece of apple in oil, for me is like committing a crime. I like my skillet too much and I end up stir frying most of the times. Apple fries made in a skillet are not crunchy but are everything a dreamy desert is made of. Eat them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or top them up on your morning pancakes or just have them as a snack. We finish it before it reaches any of these dreamy dishes but I will try to make a little more the next time, promise!

Apple Fries with Cinnamon Recipe
Enjoy apples the fun way with these Cinnamon flavored Apple Fries which are also Caramelized making it drool worthy
- 1 tbsp Clarified Butter
- 1/2 Apple sliced
- Pinch Salt
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar or Cane Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon powder
Heat clarified butter in a pan and roast apple slices on both sides.
Once roasted, sprinkle salt and brown sugar on top.
Coat the apple slices well and let the sugar melt. Once melted, switch off the gas. Remember to switch off the gas as soon as the sugar melts otherwise it will crystallize.
