My daughter loves chocolate ice cream and this chocolate banana ice cream is now her favorite. I am happy because it’s much healthier with no added refined sugar. If I have frozen bananas, I can make this banana ice cream in a blender within 5 minutes. I have added peanut butter to this recipe to add a nutty flavor and to make the ice cream creamier and increase protein content.

I usually make my own peanut butter at home. Check out our recipe for Homemade Peanut Butter with clear video instructions. Store bought peanut butter is full of sugar and other preservatives. But if you can’t make it at home then try the nut butter by Veeba. I recently discovered and immediately knew it’s far better than any other brands in the market. It’s less sweet, thicker and good in taste. This peanut butter banana ice cream is to die for.

Replace the milk in the recipe to make a Vegan Banana Ice Cream. This banana ice cream can be made in so many flavors and not just chocolate. You can add fruits, nuts and spices to make exciting flavors. The possibilities are endless. For banana recipes, check out the Banana Sushi and our Eggless Banana Pancakes.
