Figs Milkshake

Delicious, thick and filling fresh figs milkshake is quite a drink. Fresh bold fig flavor and a creamy milkshake without any use of ice cream. This is a milkshake which can instantly become a hit at parties or with the kids.

I love fresh figs, especially topped on ice creams, pancakes or cakes. When I tried the figs milkshake for the first time, I just fell in love with it. It’s subtle, refreshing, creamy and quite filling. Add a banana and you are done for two to three hours.

My daughter who loves anjeer or athipazham or figs in their dried version, also loved fresh figs milkshake. It’s extremely power packed with nutrients and has a very nice light pink colour. Don’t expose the figs for too long to open air after chopping it otherwise it may turn a bit sour which will not give a good taste to the milkshake.

  • 1 cup Fresh Figs chopped 6-7 figs
  • 3 tbsp Brown Sugar or Honey or Gur Powder
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence optional
  • 1 1/2 cup Milk chilled


  1. Put chopped figs in a blender.
  2. Now add brown sugar or any alternative sugar you are using.
  3. Add little milk first and blend into a puree.
  4. Add more milk to the prepared puree to make the milkshake. Adjust sugar if required.
  5. Serve fresh figs milkshake chilled.
