Healthy Banana Split

A great treat for every occasion is how I define Banana Split. A traditional banana split is bananas, three different ice cream flavors and lots of different toppings arranged in a boat shaped bowl. A lot of variations can be made and I am sharing a healthier variation with frozen banana nice cream.

Made with banana, strawberry banana ice cream, pineapple ice cream, mocha nice cream and topping of your choice makes for a perfect banana split.

Healthy, colorful, mix of three amazing ice cream flavors and bananas. Add any topping you like and make a banana split of your liking. I can eat my banana split without any guilt and enjoy it too. I make it with flavored frozen banana ice creams, without any refined sugar.

The version I am sharing with you all today has become a family favorite. I have added banana split into two. You could even caramelize the banana for a different variation. Then I have added Pineapple Ice Cream Scoop, Strawberry Banana Ice Cream Scoop and Mocha Nice Cream. You can even try my Instant Chocolate Banana Ice Cream which is again a great addition in this banana split. Add any toppings of your liking. I usually add choco chips, chocolate sauce and some roasted crushed peanuts.

This has a soft serve like creamy texture and is ready within a few minutes. Perfect when you need an instant pick me up or for a party. I always have frozen bananas in my freezer to churn out an instant ice cream bowl.

We all are in love with this ice cream. It is healthy, yummy and is ready within minutes if you have frozen fruits in the freezer. No refined sugar, whole fruits and a no churn ice cream makes it all the more healthy and easy to make.

How do I make a Banana Split?

Traditionally Banana Split was made with banana, three different ice cream scoops and various toppings of your choice. For a banana split you can add the following:

  1. Banana or caramelized banana
  2. One scoop each of Chocolate Ice Cream, Vanilla Ice Cream and Strawberry Ice Cream
  3. Chocolate Sauce, Chocolate chunks
  4. Whipped Cream
  5. Roasted peanuts or dry fruits or sprinklers
  6. Maraschino cherries or chopped fruits.

  • 1 Banana Medium Size, Peeled sliced
  • 1 scoop Pineapple Ice Cream
  • 1 scoop Strawberry Banana Ice Cream
  • 1 scoop Mocha Nice Cream
  • 1 tbsp Choco Chips
  • 1 tbsp Chocolate Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Roasted Peanuts


  1. Add split banana in a bowl.
  2. Now add pineapple ice cream, strawberry ice cream and mocha nice cream scoops.
  3. Top with choco chips, chocolate sauce and roasted peanuts.
