This Diwali, we are hosting a party for friends but often at parties I have seen children being ignored. To make Diwali party more fun, I have planned a few kids recipes as well. These mini pizza coins are such fun addition to my already decided menu of Popping Candy Chocolate Sparklers, Homemade Potato Smileys and Firecracker Namak Pare.
Whenever we talk about Pizza, our daughter and I have a conversation about the toppings because if she were to have her way (which she most often does!), she would only eat toppings. Since I made these mini pizza party snack on the occasion of Diwali, I cut bell peppers and cottage cheese in the shape of diyas, flowers, crackers etc and they all looked so beautiful. You can simply cut any choicest vegetable to your liking and use as toppings (yes, go ahead and try adding broccoli).
In this recipe, I am sharing a very easy home-made pizza dough recipe but if you want a quick appetizer, you can use store-bought mini pizza bases or even make mini bread pizza by cutting bread into mini circles.
The best part about the mini pizza is that they are so easy to hold and eat. A kid favorite recipe made in their size! So wait no longer and make these awesome mini pizza this Diwali and treat the kids.
