Peanut Butter Granola
Healthy homemade chewy peanut butter granola which is a great make ahead breakfast
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Rolled Oats
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 2 tbsp Honey or Maple Syrup
- 4 tbsp Peanut Butter
- Pinch of salt
- 1/4 cup Almonds
- 2 tbsp Chocolate chips
Instructions

Pre heat the oven at 170 degree C for 10 minutes.

Take rolled oats in a bowl.

Now melt together peanut butter, oil and honey in a pan.

Mix well till everything is well blended.

Pour the syrup on the rolled oats and mix well.

Spread the coated oats on a baking tray.

Bake in a pre heated oven for 10 minutes. Take the tray out and toss once to keep them from burning from the sides.

Spread almonds on top of the oats and push the tray back in the oven to continue baking for another 8 - 10 minutes or until light golden brown. Keep a close eye on the granola now because it tends to burn quickly especially from the sides.

Take the tray out and let the granola cool down completely.

Mix chocolate chips in the granola, once cold, before storing in an air tight container.
