Instant Banana Oats Cookies
An easy oats cookies recipe made with just two ingredients. This is an instant healthy oatmeal cookie recipe without any added sugar or preservative. Only banana and quick oats. You can add cranberries or a winning combo of raisins to make oatmeal raising cookie recipe.
This is as simple as it can get. No need to bake, no need to collect ingredients. You can make these oats cookies with your eyes closed! Just mix mashed banana with oatmeal, roast it on a griddle or even in your microwave for 30 seconds and your oatmeal banana cookies are ready!
These are chewy and not very crispy and since they are instant cookies, make only as much as you would consume while they are still warm. These cookies don’t require any additional sugar or baking powder or soda. Banana gives the cookies the sweetness that’s required. I have used Quaker oats to make these easy oatmeal cookies.
These chewy oats cookies are very good for those mid meal hunger pangs for kids and adults. This recipe is made with banana and oats, making this very good weight gaining foods too.

Is oatmeal and banana good for you?
Addition of banana, which is a natural sweetener gives the much required sweetness and also nutrition. Banana is packed full of essential nutrients and vitamins. Banana also has a good amount of soluble fiber. Oatmeal is very good for you because it is loaded with dietary fiber. Oats are rich in antioxidants, minerals and healthy fats. A combination of oatmeal and banana is nutritionally dense and a very healthy for you.

Two Ingredient Banana Oats Cookies Recipe
Instant oats cookies with banana, ready in minutes and very easy to make.
- 1/2 cup Mashed Banana
- 1/2 cup Oats
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon Powder optional
- 2 tbsp Cranberry or Raisins optional
- 3 tsp Ghee (Clarified Butter) (optional)
Mix oats with mashed banana. The mixture should hold together but at the same time a little soft and not too dry. If the mixture is too wet, then add a little more oats. If the mixture is dry, then add a little more mashed banana. Look at the video for consistency.
Add cranberries and cinnamon powder to the mix. These are optional ingredients. You can add any spice or any nuts, seeds and dried fruits you like or leave them out completely.
Scoop out a tablespoon at a time to make cookies.
Place the cookies on a lightly greased (with ghee) pan. Roast until light brown on both sides and cooked through. Should take approximately 2 to 3 minutes. Greasing the pan is optional.
Alternatively, you can even microwave these cookies directly for 30 seconds.
Serve them warm and finish them. These cookies become chewy when stored.
