Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup Onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic minced
  • 2 tsp Butter
  • 1 cup Corn boiled and mashed
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Red chili flakes
  • 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese grated
  • 4 Whole wheat bread slices
  • Butter to spread
Instructions
  1. Heat butter in a pan and add onion. Once translucent, add garlic and saute for a few seconds.

  2. Add boiled and mashed corn and mix well until the mixture is a bit dry. Now add salt, pepper and milk.

  3. Mix well and continue stirring until it the mixture thickens a bit. If it's very dry, then add more milk or water.
  4. Add red chili flakes and cheese. Mix well and switch off the gas.
  5. Apply the corn and cheese spread on two pieces of whole wheat bread. Cover them with a bread slice each.

  6. Apply butter on both sides (outer) of the sandwich and grill them both on an electric grill or on a flat hot griddle on stove.
  7. Crispy corn and cheese sandwich is ready.
