Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Onion chopped
  • 2 Garlic crushed
  • 1/4 cup Red bell peppers chopped
  • 1/4 cup Corn steamed
  • 1/2 tsp Red chili flakes
  • 1/2 cup Chicken boneless broiled (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Oregano
  • 1 cup Homemade cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Pasta Macaroni cooked
  • Few Saffron strands soaked in warm milk
  • Cheese for Garnish
  • Red chili flakes for Garnish
Instructions
  1. In a deep pan, heat olive oil. Add garlic and saute for a few seconds.

  2. Add onions and saute for a couple of minutes. Add bell peppers, corn and mix well. Add red chili flakes.

  3. At this point, you can add broiled chicken pieces if you want or else leave it for keeping it vegetarian.
  4. Add salt, pepper and oregano. Now add cream cheese, cheese and milk all at the same time.

  5. Saute well on low heat till the sauce comes to a boil.
  6. Add pasta and mix well. Adjust the seasoning if required.
  7. Add soaked saffron and mix again.
  8. Garnish with cheese, red chili flakes and serve hot.
Recipe Notes

For *Homemade cream cheese (1 cup), first grind 1 cup diced cottage cheese (paneer) until crumbly. Now add 1/2 cup hung curd and grind till smooth.
