Ingredients
For Paneer Fingers
  • 8 No Paneer (Cottage cheese) strips cut into rectangular strips
  • 3 tbsp Rolled Oats Or Instant Oats
  • 3 tbsp Rice Flour
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 2 tbsp Oil for shallow frying
  • 8 Popsicle Sticks optional
For Spicy Peanut Butter Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Peanut Butter
  • 1 tsp Red chili flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • 2-3 cloves Garlic crushed
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Honey (to increase the sweetness if required)
Instructions
  1. Sprinkle salt on paneer strips and set aside.

  2. Make the peanut butter sauce by grinding together peanut butter, red chili flakes, salt, garlic, lemon juice, oil, soy sauce.

  3. Grind until a smooth paste is formed. Mix a bit of water if it's too thick to coat the paneer properly. Adjust seasoning at this stage and make it more robust with flavors. Add honey here if required.

  4. In a flat plate, mix together rice flour, oats, salt, oregano and pepper.

  5. Now take each strip of paneer, dip in peanut butter sauce to coat well, coat in the mixture of oats properly and shallow fry in oil until crisp and done.

  6. Now insert popsicle sticks into each cooked paneer finger or serve as is with some ketchup or dip of your choice.
