A warm and comforting bowl of broccoli soup which is full of health and nutrition.
Heat butter in a pan and add garlic, celery and onion. Fry till onion is translucent.
Add broccoli, salt and pepper powder. Mix well.
Add water. Cover and cook till broccoli is soft.
Blend into a puree and keep aside.
Now in a new pan, add butter for white sauce.
Fry flour in the butter till raw smell disappears and it turns light brown in color. Add hot milk while continuously whisking.
Let the white sauce come to a boil and then add broccoli puree.
Cook till everything is mixed properly and soup comes to a boil.
Adjust seasoning if required, garnish with parsley and serve hot.
