Freshly squeezed lemon juice with a simple sugar syrup and water makes for a delicious jug of old style lemonade.
Heat together water and sugar. Keep stirring in between till sugar dissolves.
Take it off the heat as soon as the sugar dissolves completely. Sieve the mixture to get rid of impurities. Let the syrup cool before using.
Mix together all the ingredients for nimbu pani masala and sprinkle it on top of the lemonade.
Put some ice in a tumbler. Add lemon juice, simple sugar syrup (or fine sugar powder), nimbu pani masala, lemon slices, mint leaves and water to fill the tumbler. Adjust taste to your liking and serve chilled
