Healthy, soft, crumbly and a very easy ghee biscuits recipe made with only four ingredients.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/4 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 6 tbsp Ghee
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar or Jaggery Powder
  • 1 tsp Cardamom powder or Vanilla Essence
  • Pinch of Salt optional
  • 2 tsp Cold Milk only if needed
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven at 180 degree C for 10 minutes. If you are using both the rods and fan setting then you can reduce the temperature to 170 degree C.
  2. Mix together flour, salt, sugar, cardamom powder, ghee and bring everything together. We are looking for a medium soft dough. Not too soft as well. Don’t knead too much.

  3. If the mixture is dry, then use 1 tsp of milk at a time to bring everything together into a soft dough.
  4. Take 1 tbsp mixture at a time and shape them into a circle or any shape you like.
  5. Line an oven tray with butter paper or aluminium paper or use a cookie mat. If you don't have any then brush the oven tray with some oil/ghee in order for the cookies to not stick.

  6. Place the biscuits one at a time on the oven tray. Put the oven tray in the middle rack in the oven.
  7. Bake the biscuits for 12 to 13 minutes or until slightly browned at the edges.
  8. Take the biscuit tray out and let it cool before taking them out. Store them in an air tight container outside at room temperature.
