Roasted Broccoli with Parmesan is a quick and easy snack made with broccoli and just a few ingredients

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Broccoli florets
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic finely chopped
  • 2 tsp Olive oil or regular oil
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated
Instructions
  1. Put broccoli florets in boiling hot water to blanch. Let the broccoli sit in hot water for at least a couple of minutes.
  2. Immediately transfer broccoli into a pot of ice bath. Broccoli will retain it’s color and look more vibrant.
  3. Now drain and pat dry.
  4. Season the broccoli with salt, black pepper, chopped garlic, olive oil and oregano. Mix well.
  5. Now place the mixed broccoli in an oven tray and bake in a pre-heated oven at 200 degree C for 10 to 15 minutes or until crisp and brown from the edges.

  6. Take the roasted broccoli out and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
  7. Bake for another 5 minutes until the cheese melts.
  8. Serve warm as a snack or a side dish.
